57. Home Educating with an ESA / Hope Scholarship

Today we are chatting with Allison Gentala and Linda Crosby, two women who have years of experience with home educating their children. As home educating mamas, Allison and Linda both had children who were in need of extra support due to learning disabilities. In this episode, they talked about using ESA’s (Education Savings Accounts) to help support tutoring, therapy, curriculum and other educational items . Education Savings Accounts allow parents to withdraw their children from public school and receive a scholarship for use in educating their child. Those funds can cover private school tuition and fees, online learning programs, private tutoring, community college costs, higher education expenses and other approved customized learning services and materials. Check out this episode to learn more about home educating and ESA’s.
